She got to the Lincoln as they were in post deployment stand down and within a week of the crew returning they had to send some off to the Nimitz for their deployment. She hadn't been deployed yet so got sent with quite a few others. She keeps getting shown in all the papers of the ship. Thats *very* unusual for 'temporary' crew. She was placed in charge of the salad bar. That may not sound like much but she has 10 people working for her now. That salad bar handles 6,000 sailors a day for 3 meals a day. Unlike Sheldon who claims to have single-handedly fed 1,000. Charlotte is in charge of a group that literally IS feeding 6,000. Most 'salad bars' on ships also have large vats of soups, chili, fruits and so on. |
