We have a long line of protesters in the Kuthe Family! My brother Bob attended the Democratic National Convention in 1968 and also got tear gassed! And I attended the 1978 NORML Smoke-In in Wash. DC and asked a uniformed DC cop for a light for a joint and did NOT get arrested as the Social Contract was if they arrested anyone, we were ALL gonna turn ourselves in, and the DC cops sure did not want THAT!! :-)

As Gandhi did in India on his Dandi Salt March! That which Mother Gaia freely gives cannot be taxed!

It's a shame. There was an incident for which a protest was definitely
justified. Unfortunately, a lot of us know that it would turn into riots
and looting. Here were are months later and the professional shit
disturbers are still carrying on in some places.

Yup...EXACTLY...

Too bad martial law cannot be declared in these dem - run ********s of Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Minneapolis, NYC, DC...these violent looting rioting scum need to be "purged"...

I've lived in Chicagoland for 40+ years, we've had a parade of many clowns in office - at least three governors in jail, most of the elected officials are just grifters - but they all "got it" that you Chicago MUST have a viable downtown business district that is safe, somewhat attractive, and a decent place to do business in. But this current lot is clueless, so downtown is lost, Mogadishu and Kabul are actually prolly safer...no one in their right mind is going to venture downtown, it looks like Berlin 1945 down there...

These "revolutionaries" will someday rue what they have wrought - they will be stood up against a wall and SHOT - and they will be destroyed by their very own "comrades - in - arms"...

Thought it was hilarious that Portland's "mayor" - his moniker should be "pipsqueak" - went out to show his solidarity with the protestors and was booed and jeered and had to be hustled away by his security team or else he would have been hung from the nearest lamp post...

Chicago's "mayor" has on average at least 200 - 300 Chicago police guarding her residence 24 hours per day...all the while blaming the police for all the damage that has been done...

We live in a crazy world...

I have no objection to protests, even if there's no basis for their
grievance. I don't much mind mobs tearing down statues. But
my tolerance stops when they burn buildings, loot, and physically
attack anyone.

There are a ton of people protesting who are simply exercising their
First Amendment rights. But a bunch of bad apples are spoiling things
for everyone.

Anyway, I find it more effective to use my checkbook than to march
up and down shouting and carrying a sign.

I object. I am sick of their bullshit. I am sick of black people
complaining about them occasionally getting shot while we have to deal
with the problem that more than 90% of the murders in Toronto and
Hamilton are young black men shooting other young black men. I view the
BLM as a racist organization that looks the other way when it is a black
person shooting but then tries to make martyrs of career criminals.

A group of BLM and *** activists got arrested and charged for defacing a
statue to Edgerton Ryerson, the man who is credited with developing our
public education system. A lawyer for those arrested whined that her
clients were forced to take those steps because that is what they had to
do to get attention to their cause. That ranks up there with a naughty
child acting out to get attention.

Comparing your useless nephew to Gandhi? LOL.

Portland is a complete cluster **** and hopefully soon the Feds will

So, you don't actually know. Nor have yo explained what he is
'protesting' about.

OK. Let's have some fun. Can you outline for me in what way Trump is
fascist? I mean, in the actual definition of the word 'fascist'. What
has he actually done that would qualify as 'fascist.

Is he also a 'white supremacist too? That one also seems to be popular
amongst the greatly bored and confused sheep out there. I ask these
questions, because it seems what passes for the left these days cares
little for actual facts, and prefers to operate on feelings rather
than rational debate.

I don't like Trump, but I like his political opposition a whole lot
less these days.

Of course, I never claimed that, so I don't know why you brought it
up. Even you must see the difference between what is the left in 2020
and the 'right' (whatever that is) in terms of willfully denying

It's more accurate to describe it as Marxism, especially since so many
of them identify as Marxists (BLM leaders are mostly self-proclaimed
Marxists) and promote the same ideology. And use the same methods to
censor the public.

Criticism of what? You just claimed I "hobnob with the extreme right".
That isn't criticism, that's just you being a dick for no apparent
reason. I'm not at all interested in your usual 'Bruce' shtick, it's
boring, repetitive and pointless. I've previously blocked you (and
some others) simply because it saves time going through threads here.

But haven't you become extremely right wing then? I seem to remember
you even defended the Thai military dictatorship. That's pretty out
there.

I do agree with you. Screw all these chronic protesters causing all this
crap night after night, on and on.

They need to do what happened in Washington DC right after MLK was shot
and killed. So many of the blacks there went nuts and turned DC into a
war zone...rioting, looting, burning everything in sight.

As kids then we would go down to the Potomac River and look up towards
the city (about 10 miles away) and see dozens of columns of smoke rising
due to all the fires.

Finally on the news, they announced "Washington DC is now under martial
law and a nighttime curfew. Anyone out after dark will be shot."
Plain and simple. That seemed to end all that crap pretty fast.

All they have done so far is made it worse. Instead of restoring order
they make it look like we live in a military state where the thugs on
the street are replaced by thugs wearing camo.

It's a pretty good idea to get the cops out of military gear and take away their military toys. Send all that military gear, vehicles, and ordnance, to South Korea. That's the right thing to do.

The federal agents in Portland aren't really even cops. DHS and CBP agents
work under a completely different paradigm than police. They do not appear
to have been briefed about "probable cause", nor about how to make a proper
arrest that will stand up in court and not be considered a violation of
the Fourth Amendment.

They're border patrol goons using their goon tactics on American citizens. Amazing, simply amazing.

Demonstrations always attract scum. In the Netherlands, it's a
combination of neo-nazis -however rare- and football hooligans -not
rare at all. The original idea behind the demonstration may have been
peaceful, but the scumbags ruin it.

So youre saying a possible second Ruby Ridge or Waco situation
might happen? Wheres Clinton and Reno when we need them? Theyd take
care of the problem savagely, and the press would promote the resulting
tragedies as good for the country. How soon we forget when its convenient
to our philosophy.

For the most part, the protesters in Portland aren't holed up with a
bunch of guns. That's a right-wing specialty.

I doubt it's 'out there'. What was I 'defending'?

What exactly are the relatively few genuine protesters hope to achieve
at this point?

Sometimes you have to make tough decisions. If you don't stamp rioting
out, it only gets progressively worse. NYC is a perfect example, where
that idiot de Blasio told the cops to stand down and let the rioters
do their thing... the (outdated) protocol that's long been proven to
not work. The idea being the rioters will run out of steam and go
home. No common sense at all, much like with the fiasco with nursing
homes in NYC.

You're always putting down everything left-wing and blaming the left
for everything. Like Greg Sorrow, although not in such a stupid way.
Mind you, I'm not asking or suggesting that you're a neo-nazi or
anything like that.

The Thai dictatorship. I forgot the details. Maybe I remember wrong or
maybe you've changed your mind. This was at least a year ago.

If you have 10000 genuine protestors and 100 scumbags, you'll get a
riot.

Trump's divisive tone is only making things worse. He's coping with
the BLM thing as poorly as with covid. The man's a total failure, like
everybody but the deplorables knew he would be.

That's not true. You're not good at being objective and I see that
still hasn't changed.

>Like Greg Sorrow, although not in such a stupid way.

Again, what kind of response are you expecting froma comment like
that? All you deserve is abuse in kind.

LOL. Just forget it, OK? You're a lost cause.

Why do you keep asking what I expect? Just say what you have to say.
