Default Bought a Ninja foodie too...

Worst machine i ever bought.
3 prong
Cannot remove lid
Lid swings from right to left. Not front to back.

People seem to like this. I preffer old school pots and pans.
My cooking will always be better than 3 prong.

Ummmmm, did you not know this before you purchased it?

Yes, that's so it will open fully and not bang into your cabinet doors
if it's on your counter. Does this mean you don't like your refrigerator
doors, too? They open right to left or left to right depending how your
kitchen is laid out for ease of opening.

It has its' uses especially if you don't want to spend all day in the
kitchen or you want a meal in a hurry that doesn't involve takeout or
a sandwich.

His kitchen isn't up to current electrical code.

There are very inexpensive adapters that have a ground wire that I
strongly suggest attaching to the center screw of the cover plate...
although I much more strongly suggest having an electrician survey the
wiring.

Yep, they can be found at any hardware, home improvement, or even many
grocery stores.

I hope you were addressing your remarks to Thomas and not me. My kitchen
is code-compliant.

Up to code when it was built. 3 prong outlets abound but I have 2 where I have space.
Right to left lid i did not expect. My new BM has 2 . That works.
