I find I prefer cauliflower cooked using dry-heat methods such as
roasting or grilling. Wet methods leave it tasting weak and watery.

Cilantro does taste like soap to me. I don't care. I still eat the stuff.

Change brands if you don't care for the taste of the ones you are
buying. Each brand has a different taste. Or cook up a batch and
season them for yourself. Refried beans are something that can be
portioned and frozen. I've done both, bought them and cooked from
scratch.

It almost doesn't taste like food to me. Maybe soapy or plasticy, yes.
But in the right combination I like it.

yes, peach salsa with good sweet onions and some nice chili
of some kind. something i don't get a chance to eat often
since it is only worth making when you have good fresh peaches.

beans in general work well when cooked up in a bigger batch
and then portioned out and frozen. they go well in so many
things or eaten plain. when i make a big pot of them we drain
most of the liquid off (not me as i like it but Mom doesn't she
calls it sludge lol) and put them in quart jars and into the
freezer then they get used up over the next month or so.

because i do like some variety in beans that i eat i'll also
make several batches a month of whatever single variety i have
on hand. with the variety i can eat beans almost every day of
the week which works well for a lot of meat substitution and
the extra fiber and filler.

Oh you want to get technical do you? well dude you are ****ing with
the wrong person for that because trust me I know a lot more than you
do about pretty much everything that exists in this universe. Tortilla
are a flat bread in mexico used for many things. They originated in
Mexico around 1600 and were made from corn, NOT FLOUR because there
was no flour there at that time so they used CORN! But you are correct
I do not eat flour. I do eat corn though so there's that.
BTW look up the word narcissist because you I believe dont know what
it means from the context in which you have used it in the above
statement.

The only Psych issue I have is a get highly irritated when I have to
deal with incredibly stupid people....

Ya see I am the kind of person that is not always liked but when the
going gets tough or when the shit hits the fan or when people just do
not know what the **** to do then I am the one that they turn to.
Personally I do not care, I actually prefer to be alone. Most people
are so damn stupid they do not realize how stupid they actually are. I
mean it is sometime hard to walk into a grocery store and see some
moron there doing something that is so incredibly simple and having a
hell of a time trying to figure it out, like tying their shoe or even
as stupid as getting something off of the shelf.

Now whether you count yourself as part of the moronic is up to you.
But unless you are me then I would surely place you there.

that is a very common mistake Iowa would be an excellent choice
for reluctance to try anything spicy or ""foreign"
When my sister-in-law was here last year we took them to a cozy
bar/restaurant in the mountains for some 'local color.' She ordered
chicken soup rather than any suspicious items on the menu. She
couldn't eat it as she claimed that it was too spicy. It was just
regular chicken soup but the thought was planted in her head.
I wasn't able to use cilantro, garlic or any pepper or spices when I
cooked. We finally took them to a pizza place where you chose your
pizza piece by piece as soon as it got under the hot lamp. That has
been their favorite place to remember.

Oh, that could explain it. Much the same as people like Roseanne Barr
and Sam Kinison. Both hit by vehicles as children, suffering head
injuries. Their personalities completely changed due to the injuries.

You judge people based on their IQ? And back to you, for a moment.
Unfortunately for you, we have your posting history here that
contradicts your implication that you possess superior intelligence.

>Now whether you count yourself as part of the moronic is up to you.

Sure, but you're not entirely rational, ergo your opinion is invalid.
