Default Seasonal baking

Last week I took to my son's family in BC: 6 dozen vanilla sablés, 3
dozen almond tarts, a batch of chocolate crunch a dozen Korovia cookies
and a few cupcakes made from coconut flour.
I have just completed the second baking session this afternoon and am
knackered>
6 dozen sablés
2 dozen Korovias
6 dozen almond tarts
1 dozen coconut cupcakes
6 raspberry tartlets
Batch of chocolate crunch.
The latter is a favourite from my schooldays, the recipe coming from the
cook who was in charge of the kitchen at the school. It has become a
favourite of my sons and grandson.
I still plan to make challah and a Bakewell Tart. I think those can wait
until Sunday.

Good grief! Aren't your arms ready to fall off??? But all sounds really
good and of course, not a single calorie any of this.

Wow! I used to bake like that but not for years. I am happy that you
are still able to. Your kitchen must be fully scented for the season

I have hungry sons and now very hungry teenage grandchildren. I don't
make xmas cake or mince pies any more. The almond tarts have replaced
the latter and sablés have become the latest fave. Some of the largesse
will be for friends that I meet for coffee.
The house smells of vanilla and chocolate:-)
