OT I'm getting for $300 a Pair of Magnepan speakers

There was a show on PBS that highlights craftsmen and one was a glass
guy. He had one gob that he stretched into 30' long rods about 1/4"
thick. They they cut them about 10" and laid them in glass, rolled it
and twisted it to make a lamp.

He made it look easy but the timing was really good and smooth. I'd
like to make a goblet or a mug, but chances are it will end up as a
free-form paperweight.
