My last pizza
Loaded toppings onion-mushroom-cheese-sauce
Cooked it Saturday. - 2 slices for lunch - 1 slice for dinner Sunday: - one slice for lunch - one for dinner M-W: - one slice each day This was the last slice - pic taken yesterday evening. On an ancient Corelle dinner plate (from the 1970's). On my 'traditional' butcher block formica countertop. Also with a 'traditional' ferret something included. https://www.hostpic.org/images/1910032028230093.jpg :) |

On 'Stefano's' show. He's a Canadian, probably not seen in the US. He made a nice pizza with passata, sausage, cheeses, onions, and black olives. Not too heavy on the toppings. He insists that too heavy on the toppings is not good. I like lots of toppings though. |

Based on Gary and Sqwertz, you'd think that the art of American pizza making is that you can't see the pizza bottom anymore. Everything's fully covered with at least a cheese swamp. |

From a large pizza (16") I'll eat one slice (1/8). Pizza is not something I eat a lot of, I consider it an appetizer prior to a large garden salad... 4 ripe Romas diced, 1 cuke diced, 1 med. sweet onion diced, Italian dressing usually that I make myself. |
My last pizza
I use whole wheat toast for the crust and use about 6 oz of cheese on 6 slices.

Way more loaded than I normally make. More like a cross between a regular pizza and a Chicago style deep dish one. Dominant taste was meant to be mushrooms and onions. Next one will be a more simple one. |

That one slice weighed maybe 7 oz. (16" diameter pizza) I've never added meat to my homemade ones. If I buy a frozen one from store, I usually buy a Supreme If I buy from a pizza place, it's usually a Pepperoni one. |

I love olives of all kinds but I wouldn't think olives are any good cooked in tomato sauce. One of my favorite coldcuts is olive loaf... it's kinda like Spam, but with pimento stuffed olives embedded in it. I think I'll try that with my next Spam sandwich. I bet if they made "Spam Olive Loaf" it'd be a big seller... they can call it Deviled Spam. |

I once put green olives in pasta sauce, couldn't even taste the olives.

Just not a fan of Spam as it's too salty and too gristly for me. I dont think Spam is any more salty than olive loaf, I'd say they are equal in the salty department... cold cuts are typically salty. I only buy original Span and I have never found it gristly. Spam is simply an acquired taste, most people don't like it but I do like it, about 2-3 times a month. I rarely cook it, I usually slice it cold into a sandwich and eat it with mustard... but then I do the same with quality tube steak. |
