Did Germany kill more than the allies did? Murder is murder. Both sides committed criminal acts. At least I've got the fortitude to admit it. I've gotten bigotry on usenet for starters. Mr. dipshit falsely accused my Grandfather of helping 'them' into the showers. My mother was falsely accused of informing on her Jewish friend etc. Mr. dipshit also condoned the rape and/or murder of civilians by the Soviets. The civilians were ethnic Germans and Reichs Germans so he described it as 'a little payback'. etc. That's bigotry in the extreme. Someone like that is a POS.

We used to play a game called well 'chestnuts'. Anyway, the husband came home and started to get ****ed off. Then he looked at me and asked if I was a Heinie. Heinie used/is a slang for German. I've also heard Jews being called Heinie. I suppose I looked 'German'. Anyway, I said yes. He put me into a head lock and dragged me around his front lawn. Finally he let me go. We got on our bikes and took off, riding across the RR tracks. When I was a bit away, I turned around and yelled '**** Off' at the guy. LOL. He became furious and started running after me. Then something wonderful happened. He tripped on the RR tracks and fell face down. He looked up at me. I can never forget the look on his face.. Now that's a little payback.

You keep ignoring the Holocaust. Or when you do mention it, you call
it a "stupid" idea, which is the understatement of the year.

But I agree that it's bigotry to treat individual Germans badly.
Especially if they weren't even born or too young to have done
anything during the war. I've been away from the Netherlands for 13
years, but I think that the hatred against the Germans has largely
disappeared over the past 20 years, depending a bit on how old people
are.

That's because both parties committed terrible acts during the war,
but the Holocaust is in a league of its own. The idea to "exterminate"
all Jews on an industrial scale is so revolting that it exceeds
everything else. It's not just "stupid".

I'll give you a chance to get real. When I mentioned the crimes committed by the Soviets which included rape and murder, you trivialized their crimes by saying it was 'a little payback'. Yes. It was payback for the rape and murder committed by the Germans
when they turned on the Soviets and committed atrocities in the occupied
territories. I said it was payback. I did not say it was okay.

It was war. Horrible things happen in war. Germany had started a war in
1914 and they lost. There was a treaty to end the war and it laid out
a new map of Europe with recognized borders and there were other
conditions. Germany started to violate those conditions. They
militarized the Rhineland. They annexed Austria. The annexed part of
Czechoslovakia and then the rest of it. The UK protested and they got
Hitler to sign the Munich Agreement in which they promised there would
be no more aggression, and there was the threat of war if they did.
Hitler then violated by invading Poland, which the UK had promised to
protect. The UK declared war in response to the invasion of Poland. In
your little Arryan brain that translates to Britain starting the war.

to shove the Holocaust under the carpet. The Holocaust is what made

payback (by Russians) is not the same as condoning it. You, OTOH, said
