Yes, I have noticed that. Beats me if you do or don't. It's not my business
to be fact-checking people's post. I wonder how much dough people are
getting for checking everything you say. I'd take that gig but my salary
requirements are $5/hour - I won't take a penny less!

That's exactly what the Mandela Effect is.

=====

I amazes me how much time some folk have to mull over such things. I
often wonder why they care so much! Sad

Tell me Dave... What exactly did I deny? You all are just dog piling and you
don't even know what you're complaining about.

Well thank you, Jill. Also thanks to Ophy and Julie for the BD
wishes.

I did have a nice one and as I predicted, my daughter considered
both an apple pie or stuffed green peppers. I do know her and
guessed one of the two.

She told me that she considered a pie but knew that I try to
avoid dessert food. And I do. So she made me a large batch of
stuffed green peppers. And they were all for me, not to even
share with them. She wanted to leave me with good freezer future
meals too.

She used 6 very large green peppers
- 2lbs of ground beef
- some cooked rice
- lots of onions
- only one large jalapeno pepper chopped
- can of tomato sauce with garlic and unknown spices added
- topped with plenty of shaved mozzarella cheese
- then baked for about an hour.

Each one is a large meal in itself and delicious.

Anyway, it was a nice day here.

====

Perfect)) You are lucky to have such a caring and lovely daughter
Congratulations for that too, because I know you raised her)) Well
done)

Thanks O. It was a really nice day for me but it wasn't so nice
to my air conditioner. heheh

Between the very hot heat wave with humidity outside and daughter
using my OVEN for about 2 hours yesterday afternoon, poor old
machine worked all day to keep it cool inside.

Oh heck( Still, it was all worth it in the end and you will have have
a happy memory from it)

I think they're trying to fill the void in their lives with someone

I don't have amnesia and I wasn't caught lying. What you do though is take
things to extremes. If I were to tell you that I bit into a stale tortilla
chip, you would think that I bit into a stale tortilla chip every day. That
sort of thing.

Makes no sense to me either. Only other place that I had this much trouble
was at the now defunct peanut allergy forum. Several people there kept
accusing me of being "You know who" from "you know where." One even kept
telling me that I was forgetting who she was. I had no clue who she was! A
moderator kept telling them that she didn't think I was this person.
Eventually they managed to drive off all newcomers. By this point, I had
long since quit posting but I would read the comments from time to time. Got
to where they were turning on each other, not posting anything relevant, and
the site owner shut it down.

I am all over the Internet. Don't have this problem anywhere else!

Oooh. That's sad. I do have an exciting day in store. Just waiting for
Angela who is running late. We're going to get my free Jack In The Box
birthday tacos then on to Taco Bell for the nacho fries. After that, a
little shopping at Coscto and Haggen. Already cooked the meat for tonight's
dinner. Found a nice grass fed, organic chunk of beef that I cooked and
defatted. Will reheat with green beans, carrots, red white and blue potatoes
and Walla Walla Sweet onion. Probably won't thicken the gravy. Will see how
much it cooks down too. Seasonings are a blend of salt, pepper and garlic,
parsley and a couple of bay leaves.

Indeed, very simple:

The new gardener trims and manicures and manipulates her bush daily,
for room and board in the backyard shed.

But when Popeye flies over to Bothel for the weekend, he takes over
and the poor gardener stays in the shed till Popeye sails back home.

She has a guy. A 77 year old sailor. No gardener can compete. The
poor gardener is stuck with some old mexican woman.

That's riveting stuff. When can we expect the next episode of "Hank's

If you truly don't, you'd be pretty exceptional. My experience is that racism is so deeply ingrained on the mainland so as to be completely unrecognizable. I spotted that when I first stepped foot on the land. It was my dirty little secret that hardly anybody there knew. I'm not saying that all ya'all are wearing white sheets. Mostly, it's subtle - very subtle.

So you're talking about mainland Americans when you say "white
people".

Racists see racisim everywhere. Of course there is racism in the US
but it's not any more prevelent then anywhere else. Racisim is a fact
of life it exists everywhere... no parent wants their children to
marry outside their race, religion, or ethnicity... it's just that
simple. Do you really believe that the chink, gook, and jap parents
want their children to intermarry? No US parents want their children
to marry a ukelele and vice versa.

Well, I hadn't planned to do it but my gardener's dog was in here. I took a
pic of him and put it on FB. So far, 12 likes and 2 comments. Angela and I
hung out with him for a while. then she left to go shopping with a friend. I
noticed that we were out of cooked rice so I put some on to cook while I
finished making the dinner. Danced for about two hours.

While Angela and I were at Haggen, we did not notice that someone had
dropped small plastic bags on the floor. She skied on them, then I did,
crashing into her. While we were in the checkout line, she mentioned a
cheese sample but said she didn't want to go get it. I walked over to get us
each a sample. It was aged gouda. What I did not realize was that near the
bottom of the cheese case, it bulged out. I rammed both knees into it, fell
into the cheese, nearly hitting the cheese monger. I found it to be rather
comical. Got the samples then took Angela hers and told her what I did. She
was too busy texting a friend.

Just got back from taking my gardener to the store. I think I may do some
more dancing since I have some energy left. Am currently listening to Coast
to Coast but it's not very interesting to me.

I have been getting sporadic messages from assorted people but you never
know. The night is young. I could have more fun!

Dear Lord. My guy is British and younger than me. The gardener's GF is
younger than him and German American.

Two of my friends are Hawaiian and so is my nephew's wife. I have a white
friend who was married to a Japanese guy and another who was married to a
black guy. I have a black friend who is married to a white guy.

The three Hawaiians that I know are constantly remind me and others of their
ethnicity. That's the only reason it comes to mind. I know there are others
in my life who are not white, such as my gardener. But as I said... I don't
sort them out by color, so I think of them as my friends or my friend's
spouses and not that black guy or Japanese guy, etc.

So you're a racist - so what? I don't care if you are. It got nothing to do with me. My understanding is that your kind is feeling empowered on the mainland. God bless the Divided States of America!

When I lived on the mainland, I pretty much kept a low profile. OTOH, I wouldn't allow people there to treat me like they do black folks, or Mexicans i.e., disrespectfully.

Washington state seemed pretty cool. OTOH, I didn't see very many black folks or Mexican-Americans there back in '87.

The honkies knew you were coming, so they hid them all.

Well all I say is that your constant distractors must have pretty boring
lives if all they are interested in is your life.

This constant bitching bores the hell out of me.

LOL! Very intertaining story, Julie.
So why didn't you post the pic of your gardeners dog here?
And dancing around the house for hours yet you have problems
walking?
Thankfully, you didn't post a video of that. Probably scary.

Then...in one trip to the store, you and daughter both slipped on
plastic bags then you later crashed into the cheese case. oh
man...got to love it.

I realize that John K has been "playing us" for results.
Now I'm finally sure you are doing the same. ;-D

I think it's very caring of Julie to post this. Joan and Dave are
going to have a great day. They'll have something to munch on for
hours!
