emmenthaler style cheese vs. jarlsberg
i find jarlsberg cheese to be similar to the swiss emmenthaler style cheese. the jarlsberg is a bit stronger. i bought some today(jarlsberg)for $30.00 a kilo. it's good.
cheese is pricey, but it needs much milk. i'm also a fan of really old chedder, at least 3 years old, but 8 years old is better. |

Jarlsberg is like $5.67/lb at Costco, $9.50/lb at my grocery store. This is the stuff made in ...Norway, not Ohio. -sw |
