My boss and I ordered some equipment from Ardersier, Scotland on eBay. We
was somewhat perplexed with the cost because it was in pounds. We are very
sharp people but were fish out of water in this deal. I have some
apprehension about when we're going to get the merch because the UK is so
far away. Heck, China is closer than the UK.

You should know, you have visited here have you not?? )

I wrote a note to the boss saying that it might take a while to get here and
hoping that the boat bringing it in won't get torpedoed by the Jerries.

Fingers crossed ;p

I got a "While You Were Out" memo from the receptionist telling me that a Mr. A Hitler telephoned and wanted to see me @ the Berghof re Atlantic U-Boat movements. Following that, a complementary treatment at the Auschwitz Spa was promised.

I called the number given on the note but that was a fake number. I can't say that I totally trust our receptionist - she seems as mad as a hatter and wholly inappropriate at times. I'd like to tell the boss about her but she's his wife so... there's that...

That equipment was finally mailed. It's supposed to be coming in from your country but the tracking number is from a service called "Poczta Polska." Should I be worried?

Hmm I suppose we have Polish companies here too?

Do report back?

I ordered something from some company down south. They stipulated that 'the
emphasis is to keep prices down even if that mean speed of delivery is not
so quick'

I am still waiting 3 weeks later so, I don't know!!
