Maybe it's good if they get it out of their system. Maybe they won't

What really amuses me is how you and Bruce continually defend the lying
****tard. Even after she's been caught numerous times lying and then back-
tracking claiming she never said such a thing months down the line.

Hmm??? LOLOL

The way you talk, you'd think she's done something terrible to you.
It's completely out of proportion. If you find what she says so
incredibly upsetting, why do you read it?

I don't keep track the way you do. Maybe she's changed her mind. Maybe
things have changed. Whatever. Why on earth do you care so much? You'd
think she was stealing from you or trying to set your house on fire.

No need to 'keep track.' She's caught in a lie at least once monthly and
then claim she didn't say that. But people like you and the senile Oh-feel
-me think she's the grandest thing to hit this group.

I can remember a substantial snowfall, back in '87 I think it was.. It
must have been at least 1.5-3 feet of snow

It has snowed maybe 3-4 more times since then but not even half the
amount

Manna Mills. A health food store that is no longer there. People stopped
shopping there when the things they sold became widely available elsewhere.
That's when the complaints began pouring in. Old food mainly. I blame food
from there for my bug infestation some years back. My mom still liked to
shop there. Every year I got bags of bulk popcorn and beans in my Christmas
stocking. The beans too forever to cook and the popcorn barely popped.

She also bought jelly beans for the grandkids that they didn't like and
wouldn't eat. I remember a fight in the hospital on Dec. 23rd one year. My
dad was in the ER. Angela and I went to visit.Mom was freaking out because
she couldn't get there for the jelly beans for Christmas Eve. Despite us all
telling her that nobody ate the jelly beans, she wouldn't shut up until I
drove there and bought her two pounds. $8.99 per pound and both grandkids
tossed them out when they got home. I was glad when that store closed.

Also got rancid bulk nuts at Central Market. Thankfully just a few.

Other stores that sell bulk foods are Whole Foods, PCC, Haggen, Sprouts,
some Safeways, some QFCs, Fred Meyer and Winco. I think Winco has the
biggest selection, followed by Central Market. What each store sells, varies
widely. Some are more heavy on the candy. Some sell rice and pasta. Some
sell flour.

It really depends on the store and how fast they sell stuff. Rye flour sells
fast at Central Market. Everything seems to sell fast at Winco but... Bulk
food prices aren't always the best. Some candy is insanely expensive to buy
that way. Then again, if I'm buying bulk candy. it' because I only want a
few pieces.

Maybe Bruce doesn't care if she lies or not because it can still
generate posts that he can snipe at. Frankly, I think her lies are
hilarious, the daughter who was a dancer one week and disabled the next,
the husband who she was upset with because he used to stop and get
supper at a restaurant but then denied writing that. The story about
buy meat and then cooking it and freezing it as soon as she gets home.
There was the mysterious man with a turban who chased her with his
broom, the birds getting to the bread in the grocery store. One of the
more notables was the story about her having been a writer. When
questioned about how she could be a writer and not know the meaning of
the word "ignorant" she said she was not a writer and never said she
was. Someone else went to the effort of digging through her old posts
and found several where she had said she was a writer. Then she said she
did not remember posting that. Later on she again wrote about being a
writer. There is the gardener and his marital status. The list goes on.

You don't have to try hard to keep track of her stories. They are so
strange and so obviously bullshit that it is hard not to recall them. I
have suggested to her several times that she should find a way to keep
notes on her stories so that she doesn't get caught telling another lie
when it contradicts an earlier lie.

What is more amusing is the way several people here continue to indulge
her. Even some of the veterans are dumb enough to get sucked into
replying to her request for advice only to have her find one reason
after another to reject the advice. Then there are those who feel
compelled to defend her. She is their convenient idiot. They can feel
noble about coming to her defense even though they must realize that she
is a lying idiot who doesn't have enough credibility to defend herself.

Peanuts are not grown here. They would not be at a Farmer's Market. I would
never load up on nuts. They do go bad. I will not shell them either. Not
worth it. Would do without them before I do that. And most peanuts don't
have added stuff like you said. Only the flavored ones and seemingly the
salted dry roasted do.

It's completely out of proportion. If you find what she says so
incredibly upsetting, why do you read it?

Well, whatever. She doesn't care and the constant bitching goes nowhere.

It's 16F here this morning. A little while ago a flock of geese flew by
and then I heard a crow, and there was something about their honking and
cawing that had a sound of spring to them. Then I looked out the
window and saw that some of the branches that fell in the wind storm
last week and then got snowed on are more visible because, while the
snow level has not dropped much, it is melting or sublimating away from
the dark barked branches, a the result of bright light heating things
up. It is usually a pretty good sign that spring is just around the
corner.

Order them directly from Hampton Farms... I don't think $3.50/lb is
expensive for peanuts... how much do you pay for a pound jar of
national brand peanut butter and it's not pure peanuts.
I don't see their Valencia peanuts in the stores here either, only
various sized bags of Virginia peanuts.
