They turned out very well thank you. I added squirty cream to the insides and
dipped the tops in some caramel I made.

Just like the doughnuts, most are now in the freezer to stop me from eating
them all at once.

I have only made them twice in recent years. The first time was not a
success, but I blamed the yeast.

Yeast cant answer back, you see.

My grandson "found the recipe on a piece of paper when he decided to
remove all the cookery books from the shelf last week; so I thought I would
try them again, as the recipe was very bread-like; and so not difficult.

He wasnt keen on the result, but his sister loved them.

If you have difficulty with kneading you might not like choux pastry either,
because it needs a lot of rapid stirring when incorporating the eggs. My
shoulder and elbow try and make a run for the exit when I open the recipe
book at choux.

This is exactly why I so rarely make dessert food. Once it's here
I can't resist eating too much. Even freezing some doesn't work
for me. I can still hear their little faint voices calling me at
night from the freezer. Another snack just a microwave minute
away. lol

Anyway, thanks for nothing for mentioning doughnuts. I haven't
had one in about 7 months but I do love the raspberry filled
ones. While shopping in the morning I would often buy one and
save for an evening snack.
Guess I'll have to buy one tomorrow. :)

Also, God only knows what kind of evil chemical ingredients those
are made with. ;)

The more chemicals, the more you'll like them, so I wouldn't worry.
