You will be glad you fixed > it. 600 albums is a nice collection! I really enjoy playing the old vinyl. Since it's been so long, I've mentioned selling the whole collection just to people I know but never tried to sell them like on a local craigslist. Some have offered to buy some of them, pick and choose but I said no. If I sell, you've got to buy them all. And this was for $1.00 per album. I've since raised it to $2.oo each but I'd still rather to keep them to listen to occasionally. One day, I even tried chaining a few real rubber bands together so I could listen. Ha ha. It was a good try but didn't work. Real rubber bands are too stretchy and, while it did work, the speed wasn't constant. Failed experiment. Most likely, I'll keep them forever and my daughter will be the one selling them someday. I'm trying to downsize in case I decide to move next year but I think the lp collection is just going to have to come with me. |

I can't say I've ever seen > Vegetable Chicken soup on the shelves. ;) Evidently you forgot to look in my freezer the last time you visited. ;) I've got 2 pints of Chicken Vegetable soup in there and I'll be making more on Saturday morning. All homemade too. This latest batch was made all at once in the crockpot. - enough chicken to make a good broth/stock - several carrots scraped then cut to bite size - a few potatoes cut to bite size - a couple of tomatoes again cut to bite size - couple of onions - large pile of chopped kale - good handful of broken spaghetti noodles - I think that's all I used except just a tiny bit of S&P - topped the crockpot off with water This all cooked on low for about 10 hours and all was perfectly cooked. I deboned the chicken then added half of the meat back in. Cooled the entire batch overnight...removed most of the fat in the morning then put all into 1 pint containers - most went into the freezer. Some was to eat in the next couple of days. Good stuff. The ingredient list is above. Brmice should approve of it. ;) |

I just went out and was looking through the weekly grocery sale ads. One store has Campbells Condensed soups on sale. The picture showed a can of Chicken and vegetable soup. Go figure. I've never seen one either but I guess we both have just never bothered to look for it. I'll bet mine is better though. heh heh |

I have found brand new "old" lps still in the plastic wrap at the flea market for around 5$. Last one was Simon and Garfunkel live in Central Park 1982 5$ still in plastic wrap. Kinda hated to open it but did and it sounded great.. no pops no scratches. 600 won't be so hard to move. I have another album in plastic that has an original price of 1.47$. Some of the resale shops ask 25 to 30$ for like new ones. I don't buy those. jay |
