I didn't miss that you said you've never seen it.
I also didn't miss when you later admitted to never looking for
it.

Don't get all huffy on me. Of course you've never seen it since
you've never looked for it. All of my stores sell Rice-a-roni but
I never see it unless I'm looking for it. (It's not all that,
btw.)

You've got homemade recipes now and your stores probably sell the
original but you'll never try either and a couple of years from
now history here will repeat itself and you will be curious about
this product again.

Now you hate me again. Notice I'm always nice and polite to you
until you start something either with me or someone else. It's
RFC, roll with it.

Back when I ate it, I liked the fried rice version with almonds. Also, I've
never seen a store that didn't sell it when I looked/look for it.

I remember kind of liking it as I side but I hadn't bought any in
many years. Just a few months ago, I saw a sale ad for it so I
bought two, thinking I would really like this long forgotten
meal.

I think the first box (that I tried) was just chicken flavor. It
wasn't so good at all. Nothing special. I just looked...I still
have the 2nd box and it's Stir Fried Rice. I'll use it someday
and as someone suggested....maybe enhance it a bit with some
chicken and/or chopped vegetables.

Do they still make it? I had it once at a friend's house, about 45
years ago. I was not impressed and never bought it. I am assuming that
it would be stocked in the same aisle as rice. I have not seen it in
years, but I have not looked for it.

Not wanting to buy Rice-a-roni is probably a good idea. You'd probably find it to be too salty. Asians tend to like salty food because it goes better with rice. That program won't work with Rice-a-roni, for obvious reason. :)

My apologies to your entire country for the way Mr. Trump treated your Queen. The good news is that you're unlikely to have to deal with ugly Americans that's as bad in your day to day. It's all likely to be a cruise for years to come. OTOH, you're on Usenet, the last bastion of ugly Americans, so....

Surely by now I am known for not wanting to buy 'ready made' stuff wherever
possible. *sigh* I was very tired last night and unusually, it just got to
me.

I'd had enough of brainless bellyaching for not finding it or for not
searching for a recipe myself. I guess some folk just need to learn to read
properly,
either that or they are just using any excuse to try to put me down. They are
wasting their time!!!

Janet US understood exactly what I had said and done and said so VERY
clearly. She knew exactly what was happening when I searched for the
recipes. It still didn't stop! It's not my fault that dense people can't
understand what searches bring up!

Well, I have my recipe now, thanks to Janet US and Cheri so no problem and
when I get home I will be trying it out:)) It doesn't matter Those
whining are not important to me, they just seem to have a need to show their
'personalities'! <weg>

As for Mr Trump, I doubt he deliberately did anything to treat the Queen
badly (by royal standards). Not every visitor is au fait with the strict
protocols around her:) I would probably mess up too:)

Oh well, onward and upward :)

This might be apt:

"Oh, I know this creature of yours. Look at these scales, these ridges. When a dragon gets this old, it knows nothing but pain, constant pain. It grows decrepit €¦ crippled €¦ pitiful. Spiteful!"

Mr Trump looked like a little boy lost in a museum filled with dinosaur bones. It was almost endearing... almost.
