I was a little busy! Started Early Spring 2017 and was into the kitchen by June I think.

Not complete bathroom rehabs, just BathFitters for the shower on the 2nd floor and bathtub/shower on the 1st floor. And new toilets all around and new bathroom vanity sinks, etc. And new tile floor in the basement bathroom over the concrete floor.

I really had this house pretty much fixed UP!

You have been on Usenet long enough to know not to put pictures on
non-binary newsgroups. Use one of the picture hosting sites that
others on RFC use.

The meat is kinda obscured visually by the copious amount of spicy sauce. It was pressure cooked and was literally falling off the bone tender! I had a chicken leg and a hunk of goat, both fantastic!

Here's one of the 1st floor bathroom, I'm very proud of the stained glass work I had done on the whole house, and this was the coup de grace!

PS: the pink tile/paint was ORIGINAL!

This house was built/designed in 1930! Home builders were designing and building for the WIVES, the FEMALES! Who often make the DECISIONS about which homes to BUY!

This house was built/designed in 1930! Home builders were designing and building
for the WIVES, the FEMALES! Who often make the DECISIONS about which homes to
BUY!

Namaste

I like the pink tile, the windows etc. I would definitely keep them all.

That dingy white towel looks nasty, like everyone has been using it,
all month.... seems Kootchi has already adopted those grotesque Indian
hygiene habits

We used to have a small kitchen with pink tile back in the late 70's. The small range had a clock right in the middle of the panel. It was like being transported back in time to an era before I was born. I enjoyed that feeling.

I like the pink tile and the window, but the window casing color isn't
right. It looks like a swing and a miss on matching the tile color.
Better to use some completely different color. Gloss black would be
snappy.

ROFL!!! No, it's real stained glass work by Cosby Art Glass in STL. They do great stained glass work! And they make the veins in the stained glass look like tree branches, VERY COOL!

http://www.cosbyartglass.com

Quite expensive too, but I had the money and the work needed to be done, so I thought I'd get it DONE RIGHT! And I did.

Same thing with this kitchen when we bought the house, everything was in
avocado, range, cooktop, and so on, I enjoyed it too, but had to change when
it wore out.

It would be great to design a kitchen with period style appliances that would transport one to those days following the ending of WWII. It would be the closest one could get to creating a time machine to a time when the possibilities seemed limitless and America was entering a new phase of its existence. Oh yeah.

You can do that. You need to be prepared to spend a lot of money.

That is a light gray towel and they can be bought at most any store.
It's a popular color right now.

I'm not prepared to spend much money. I'd be open to buying a real vintage stove. Nothing too fancy or big or expensive. That would be the main focal point of my retro kitchen. Now all I got to do if find a moderate amount of money.

OMG another sign you make too damned much money! ;-)

But I LOVE a lot of their stuff!! Much of it would go very well in my house, built in 1930.

I was looking for prices. I guess it's like if you have to ask, you can't afford it!

You can get a vintage stove pretty easily. Most of them will be a lot cheaper than a new one. You'll have to restore the unit yourself or it could get pricey.

As you wish. I'd never buy a stove that I had to clean manually.

They list their prices. It's the 6th entry on the navigation bar on the
