Default Rice Vinegar = Rice Wine Vinegar?

I have a recipe that requires Rice Wine Vinegar, and looked for it at the store today and they had Rice Vinegar instead. Are these one and the same?

IMO, close enough. I've even used plain white vinegar a few
times. You really don't notice a difference other than price.

My question is did it call for 'Seasoned' or 'Unseasoned' Rice Wine Vinegar?

White wine vinegar works, too, and isn't too expensive.

It just said Rice Wine Vinegar. It is a recipe for Sweet and Sour Sauce.
