A dear neighbour made them for me years ago. I woke up one morning and there they were in the flower beds, he and I were keen gardeners and I had been complaining about spring taking too long to arrive. |

I have the best of both worlds - I love a duvet so I have an undersheet electric pad - that way when I am going to turn in I switch it on and when I get into bed it's all warm and toasty under the duvet. Fortunately the 9 hours without power was during the day time so I didn't feel deprived. |
