One day the city decided to install parking meters on OUR avenue. That made me mad. That evening I ripped up every meter from the C-ment and slammed them on the steel El stanchons, dimes for all. I was only fourteen... from that day forward the Avenue P boys called me The Ton. In the '50s I was the original Hulk. The Donald has a nick for everyone he likes.... and he's not even from Brooklyn, he's from Queens-Fruitland! In those days Queens wasn't considered a part of NYC, it was where all the faggots lived.... c'mon, Queens... doesn't get more faggot. |
