Spelling mistake. Not like I care, but I do know he wasn't Bryan. I
also knew kili was planning to dump Alan's sorry ass.

Not really. Steve did find Andy's obituary. If you want proof he had
problems, I can tell you. Andy was calling me constantly, in some sort
of manic-depressive state. He seemed to think I was his girlfriend. I
never met the man in my life. One day he called just to ask my middle
name. I don't have one. "How come I find Jill M. McQuown when I do a
search?" Uh... I don't know. And why the heck are you Googling me?

For a while, he called me several times a day. Sometimes just minutes
apart. He'd be all Sad Sak when I wouldn't answer the phone. He'd
leave me long, rambling messages. One minute he was "oh... guess you
don't ever want to talk to me again". Then he'd call back all bright
and cheery, "Hey! How are you! Just wanted to say hi!"

He would not listen when I politely asked him to stop. I emailed him,
asked him to stop. He didn't reply to the email. I finally had to call
him out about it here on RFC.

There was definitely something wrong with him. It's not a huge leap to
suspect he killed himself. He probably needed to be on some sort of
medication.

Not surprising. He used to go to chat and would be hitting on the women
and then freaked out when they ignored him.

Even people with mental problems can have heart attacks.

Whether he did or didn't, I know there was something wrong with Andy.
What about that bread he squished because the store didn't have exactly
what he wanted?

Don't forget him calling me on the phone. He had some delusion that I
was his girlfriend. Never mind I stopped answering my phone. He'd
leave long rambling messages... Sometimes up, sometimes down.

The guy had problems.

I think I'd given up RFC chat by then!

He had bouts of anger, I know that. I don't think he was at all a
stable person.

-Squishing bread.
-Calling McBiddy on the phone.

Ok, it must have been suicide.

I got along with him just fine for a long time. But then he went off on me
for some reason. Can't remember why now. I think he took something that I
said and twisted it into something else and then went all hateful on me.
IIRC, this was not long before he died.

True and I think he did have medical problems although I can't recall now
what they were.

No, he did NOT. Steve found Andy's estate report, which is not an
obituary, and it did not give the date or cause of death.

There are many diseases of middle-age that result in sudden death
after longterm stress/anxiety, such as stroke and heart attack.

He used to be OK, but towards the end he got really nasty. He is the
only RFC person I put in the kill file. Sad, really that a person has
the problems he had. Did he do himself in? Good possibility given his
mental state.

You say potato... kili was planning to leave him. Then she got
sick. TFM simply wouldn't work. She complained to me constantly about
him getting so drunk he'd forget to pick her up when *she* got off work.
What a guy!

I knew her better than many people here know. I don't like talking on
the phone but kili is someone I did talk to. She made a bad choice and
was trying to find a way out. She was estranged from her mother (who
thought she never should have left her - according to kili - abusive
boyfriend Greg in Maui - until it was clear she was dying). She didn't
get any help from the worthless TFM or his family. I felt sorry for
her. BUT... she also jumped into marriage with some guy she met on a
BBQ newsgroup. She was mostly vegetarian so why she thought Allen was
*all that* is a mystery. Anyone else remember her complaining about him
making her go to the "stinky meat store"?

Imagine forcing Bruce to spend the day in a butcher shop. Must have
been like that. RIP, kili. Rot in hell, Allen Tipton.

Do you remember the date, wasn't it New Year's?

I never liked the guy, personally, but did not really know him. In
fact, I wasn't even aware he committed suicide.

Uh... Allen (kili's husband) didn't commit suicide.

That's because you're a guy. She likely wouldn't have told you how
unhappy she was. IMHO, she made a big mistake marrying Allen, but truth
be told she was unhappy before that. It seemed to me she was always
insecure. Always running towards something, only to find she'd gone
from the frying pan into the fire. Poor thing. She was sweet and kind,
but also very naive.

We just have someone here saying he did recently. We don't know if he
actually did, best I can recall. He may well have, but there's no
memory stirring that back then it was known. Motly I recall the back
of a car window with a memorial.

Yeah, it wasn't too difficult to figure that angle.

There's no law that says I can't kill them. When I'm done, I'm
completely done. None of that namby pamby skipping baloney. AFAIC,
if I'm skipping them anyway, I don't even want to see their name in
the TOC. They are dead to me.

Read? Then it's the thread that won't die. Like I said, when I'm
done, I'm completely over the poster, the thread, whatever.

I never got the impression she was naive, far from it... to me she was
the classsic enabler who considered no well meant advice from anyone,
I found her extremely stubborn.

I remember he'd made some comment that he and I used to be
friends and I agreed. He'd done that before, if I knew he was in
trouble I'd have been nicer, but he'd usually just go back to
calling Blake names, which really ****ed me off. At any rate, he
did seem down right before he disappeared. The timing and his
demeanor at the time had me agreeing with your likely scenario.

That and he was filling dumpsters with his stuff, I didn't really
get the story as I no longer read his posts.

I didn't say he was dead. Just hope he rots in hell for the way he
treated her.

You can appreciate this sentiment, Sheldon. She had taken in three (?
memory fades) cats. kili cared for them like babies. She kept them
indoors. She managed to scrape money together if they needed vet care.
One cat named Pua had ringworm when she brought the cat in as a stray.
After kili died I was told TFM put them outside. As far as I'm
concerned he's a pig.
