Wearing skis or snowshoes is dangerous for driving too. Fip flops are
for wearing indoors, at the beach, and pool side. I started wearing
flip flops in the navy (everyone did), got used to them and have worn
them ever since. Flip Flops are official military issue, barefoot is
out of uniform. No one showers barefooted or it'd be two days you'd
come down with a serious case of foot crud and be out of commission.

I wear only a tee shirt for sleeping, mostly to keep from getting cat
scratches plus we don't like the temperature above 68ºF in winter or

Neither do I. But like most people I have a blanket and a sheet on my
bed. I'm perfectly comfortable with that. Buffy the cat just curls
into my side and snoozes. I keep the thermostat set at 68F in the
winter and also run the ceiling fan. There is always a glass of ice
water next to the bed.
