Can't believe some of you are still alive!
 

No internet for nearly two years. I use the library. TV broke down a month ago and am adapting well to that scene as well. As things break down around me it is a joy to find how easily I can live without them knowing that one day I too will break down and be forced at long last to live without myself. Still cooking some decent food, stuff without name mostly, a lot of prepping - not bad at all. Glad to see some of you are still alive. Eating can do that for you - keep you moving. And then squatting onto the toilet seat, that is good for the leg muscles and even the heart. So eat, drink, and be merry - for tomorrow become food for something else. I'll be checking in from time to time. Thanks.

Aw...thanks for remembering her. She stuck to me like glue. When I was
on the computer and writing here often she was right here at the desk
with me. For a long time, hanging out in my sweatshirt sleeve, then
later on laying on a towel right in front of the computer. She just
liked being next to me.

Thanks for commenting. I was going to respond to Gary's post and mention your name as well, but figured it was easier to use your post and insert Gary's name as it's easier to remember and type than your name. But thanks to both of you for responding. As for me doing well, I'm getting age related SSI, a minimum monthly check for $733 a month but have the lucky HUD rent to go with it, only $185 a month. I consider myself rich as I always did hate work even though I am a good worker, better than most who claim to love it. One of my many mottos is: No matter how much money you make you're not rich if you have to work. I mean have to do it, not just do it as a hobby. So I don't own much but don't care, I'm free from the grind, at least one form of it, and for that I am grateful. I will pop in from time to time.

Smile. Got it. If you join rec.pets.cats.community, you can see it all
building. It's a very different group from here. Most here would find
it very boring.
