On the FYI channel tonight at 7p.m. CDT is "Man v. Child: Chef Showdown," which will feature decadent desserts, if anyone is interested. There are the Prodigies vs. a Chef. The kids (5, I think..two girls and 3 boys) are very talented and the oldest I think is 15, while tiny Etsie Kung is the youngest at 8, but she looks like she is about 5. It's kinda fun to watch. The prodigies are often the winners. Only one prodigy competes at a time; there are three rounds. When the designated dish is announced, then the prodigies choose which of them will compete against the professional chef. N. |

John, you are such a purist snob...that program isn't on my watch list, but the subject came up and I have watched it a couple times by accident, you might say. However, since you insist on bragging about the lack of "TV tripe" in your life, you should refrain from commenting. You obviously have no basis for a critique of anything on TV. N. |

You have to be very selective. Apparently JohnTheRN doesn't have a television so he's not in a position to discuss it. He does, however, have a bunch of roommates and I'm guessing one of them has a TV. There is good television to be found, you just have to be selective. And make sure you don't buy CHEAP STUFF FROM CHINA! (laughing) Jill |

You have to be very selective. Yes, but on the Internet it's ON DEMAND, and no commercials, and I AM very selective too. I''ve watched almost all Frontline programs, Nature and Nova, American Experience and a few others on PBS.org !! All on demand, free and NO commercials!! John Kuthe... |

You watch all those programs and yet brag you don't miss TV. Those programs were
created for TV, so your statements come across as disingenuous at the least. Ah, well, there are none so blind as those who will not see. N. |
