I am itching to cook!
I still haven't gotten to making that bean with bacon soup. I did make
pintos earlier. I don't mind eating those cold or room temp. if I have to but bean soup is something I prefer hot. The weather is just not cooperating! I've lost track of how many wind/rain storms we've have and we could have another on Sunday although they are not certain of what the path will be. We've been lucky here. Just brief outages of Internet and cable and one power outage while we slept. But others have lost power for long enough that they had to throw out their fridge and/or freezer foods. And some have sustained damage to houses and vehicles. We don't have too many trees left around here because so many have fallen or been taken out. But the driveway is so covered with dead tree needles. I've never seen it like this before. We've had a few here and there but now there is an ever increasing carpet of them to the point where it is at least three deep. I haven't figured out how to deal with them either. Sweeping is rather ineffective. We do have a leaf blower but I have no clue how to use it. I miss my gardener. Sadly he passed away recently. He kept our yard up so well. I hope the new one can start soon! Anyway... I can't wait to make the soup. Just not sure when that might be. Too many appointments and other stuff going on right now. |

I use Vagisil when that happens. Husband won't go down for days.
