It's nuts. I could buy 6 croissants from the bakery at Publix for $2.99. Buy some deli ham, pick a cheese, any cheese. I'm thinking Swiss. I already have eggs to scramble. Breakfast croissants for 6 people... anyone got a calculator? Maybe $20. Or just 1 for $9.50. I did forget about the "side", which, with a breakfast sandwich is hopefully hash browns or home fries. When I had to take him to the hospital (the poor guy had Alzheimer's and he *insisted* he had an appointment at the hospital) he told the nurse he wanted six Hardee's sausage biscuits. Jill |
