This was an interesting broadcast, as are all Riley's programs. Scroll
down to the last couple of paragraphs and read about the real reason
Bush extended daylight saving - it was all about candy sales!

It's tough for you hosers having to be out little brother, innit?

No life of yer own, just endless kvetching about the good old USA...

Here's a hint - parents appreciated that big time, made it safer for the
little ones to go early and get home before dark.

Sorry to **** your nattering conspiracy over, you flaming ****ing
insignificant tundra-puking arsehole!

I see ads for Corn Flakes and ads for coffee. And oranges and
grapefruit. Only at the end is any mention of candy.

Exaggerated.

Bacon and eggs is a pretty old breakfast dish - advertising didn't create it. Might have made it more popular in the USA.

Porridge is a very old breakfast dish. Modern breakfast cereals are an instant substitute for cooked porridge.
