I hate waiting for stores to open in the morning. For that reason
I rarely shop at any of those. Lazy sleepy *******s. ![]() Anyway today, I've done the tracking and a package is due today from UPS. It's some kind of a food product so I want to be available when it comes. So....I kind of need to sit here for the next 4 hours and be available so whenever it comes I can sign for it. I do hate having to put my life on hold like this. I've definitely turned into a grumpy old *******. :-D |

I order food items on line all the time and I never have to sign for them... what'd you order, a $20 case of jarred mustard... no on line company is worried about something like that. I order $200, $300, $400 items and don't need to sign, the UPS drivers know exactly where to leave deliveries too, right at my garage man-door because there's a big overhang so it's out of the weather, Fed-Ex etal. leave packages here all the time too, no sig needed... maybe you live in a high crime area where deliveries are stolen. Last time I had to sign was for a $1,600 leather chair and matching hassock, was about ten years ago. I recently ordered a $300 dehumidifier from Amazon for my basement, no sig. The best part was the nice carton, cats love it so I kept it, Jilly sleeps in it every morning after breakfast... she drags all her toys in there, even her new stuffed rat. Do ferrets play with toys? Cats don't need expensive toys, they are happier with a corrogated carton and a few raggedy towels, stuff an old sock with a spoonful of catnip and they don't need pricey toys. |
