![]() $4.98/pound for choice and $1.25 more for Prime. I got choice as the cuts weren't as nice in the Prime. I had to take a 7-pound roast as that was the smallest they had. Janet US |

I can't if I'm gonna go for it. |

It was $7.99 and I got a large one, but cut off a couple of chunks to vac-pac to later grilling or cast iron pan start/oven finish. You know me...I get most of my meats at Costco, but the last couple of prime ribs (they are choice, not graded prime) have been very nice, but not ohmigawd wonderful. They make good roasts, good steaks. Last night's from the market was better than we have been getting at Costco lately. Coincidence perhaps, or maybe we were just really hungry. There was a larger fat cap (and at those prices), and although I trimmed some, I was wondering if that made a diff, too. Anyway, we had perfect med rare slabs o' beef with potato-onion pierogies and creamed spinach. |

Due to current meat prices I shop Winco and Costco for the best looking and best deals. I used to purchase meat only at Costco but the large slabs of meat just aren't for us anymore. Janet US |

The kids have flown the coop and we are eating less meat, too. |
