Burger King has better burgers than McDonald's.

Quote from *Winter's Present*:

____________________________________

It was a three hour drive to meet the train, so they left about 6:30, and went through the drive through at Burger King. Winter got lost in her own thoughts--*I usually don't eat like that, fast food breakfast, and I'd lobbied for McDonald's because I was mostly interested in another coffee, but Dad was driving, and (admittedly) better food won out over better coffee. I had one of those crescent roll things with extra sausage. Drives with my parents aren't bad*.

I think that most folks don't really "keel over" before dying.

Not everyone has a weak constitution. Hey, perhaps your thing for rectums is
your body craving someone else's fecal bacteria.

5 gallons a week - oh no! Everything they said about white people is true! In fact, it's much worse that we could ever imagine!

That's 1 liter per person per day. I think I'd start to moo
after a couple of weeks.

I had a McRib sandwich last night. I ate half of it last night and just
finished the other half a few minutes ago for breakfast. They are, as my
Southern friend would say, "gutbusters." Now I'm burping onion gas -

6oz of that stuff and it would be diarrhea-city for me. My understanding
is that white folk can drink milk promiscuously with impunity. White
folks are awesome!

I'm constantly amazed at the number of people with delicate
constitutions who blame their woes on what they ate instead of
themselves.

I like cheese on a burger from time to time, but I don't want the
vegetables or condiments (except maybe a little mustard) when I do...
that's probably because it's a "gourmet" burger when I order cheese
and I want to taste it too.

I'd call that "reliving the meal" and enjoy it.

I heard an interesting "aside" about the Chipotle issue yesterday.
Chipotle employees are given a free meal daily and yet not one single
Chipotle employee is among the known cases so far. To deepen the
mystery further, Chipotle contracts with local vendors. So, why were
so many customers sickened in such a small amount of time over such a
wide area?

When traveling the last place I'd stop for a quick meal would be a
fast food burger joint, I'd rather go hungry a while longer. I'd stop
at a deli or a pizzaria. Delis will prepare most anything... a
grilled ham n' swiss is much better than a mystery meat burger, with a
bag of chips an a cnned drink you have fast food that's safe. When
traveling a supermarket works well for breakfast, lunch, even
dinner... just about every supermarket has a deli, just stay away from
salad bars, they're the highest risk for food borne illness, instead
have fresh fruit from the produce section. Baked goods are safe too
so have muffins with fresh fruit.

Beats me, Gary. I happen to like milk so I drink it. I also drink ice
water. Even when I drank coffee I never added milk to it.

Whoa...this is very distressing, what do you think is up?

Qdoba hasn't had a similar scare.

More provincial least coast choice-making.

Word - the rest of the nation isn't constrained to such few choices.

7-11 is noxious defined.

Those dogs have more roller mileage on them than most tires on the road
today.

I might like cheese on a burger if it was real cheese. Once in a while
when I do burgers at home I stick a chunk of blue cheese in them.

I don't know if the food is the same throughout the US but I found the
Swiss Burger at the Hard Rock Cafe in Gatlinburg Tn.. was to die for.
I was also allowed to order it very rare (which is the only way I like
a burger) They were telling me they farm their own cattle etc for the
Hard Rock Cafes. Imagine my disappointment when we walked nearly two
miles in Ottawa to go the Hard Rock Cafe there and find the burger
could not be ordered rare Health regs get in the way here.

I sure wouldn't stop at an unknown deli. The stuff in the case could
have been hanging around forever.

Wife and I had the same thing this morning.

Different schedule this week but I usually stop Thursday mornings and
get two McGriddles, the other for my friend at work. The first 45 minutes
of my work day is to have tea and a bite to eat that varies every day of
the week. Thursday is McGriddle, Tuesday is onion bagel, etc.

It's just a nuance, but I can tell you that everything seems less
salty so it seems fresher tasting. I stick to the Dollar Menu
Grilled Onion Cheddar burgers or the Jalapeno burger for "regular"
food + fries. My favorite breakfast items (Sausage McMuffin + hash
browns) haven't changed much and that's fine by me because I like
their sausage seasoning.

Not a clue, but it seems like premise for a best selling mystery book.

Without looking it up, I have no clue how Qdoba is related to Chipotle
or why it would matter.
