I would never put potato products like that in the microwave. The only ones
I would do that way would be the ones intended for the microwave. In
reality, I wouldn't do those either because nobody in this house likes them.

I do not like deep fried foods in general. I have eaten Tater Tots that
were fried and they did not taste as good to me as what I make at home in
the oven. I would think it would be pretty hard to mess up Tater Tots but
Sharis restaurant did it.

Tacos don't even have set ingredients. But in general there is a protein
such as meat, fish or beans, lettuce and tomato. Sometimes cheese.
Sometimes cabbage or coleslaw. Sometimes just pico de gallo. Depends on
where you get it. The taco salad if served in a shell will have a dab of
beans on the plate to stick the shell down to. And often more beans in the
bottom. It will almost always have lettuce and tomato. Some form of meat.
Usually steak, chicken or seasoned ground beef. Cheese, olives, tomatoes,
salsa, and often sour cream and guacamole. I put sliced green onions and
cilantro on mine. Sometimes also topped with tortilla chips but usually not
served in a shell if it has those. Some places here serve them with pita
bread which seems weird to me.

You're just not paying attention. I did not ask how to make bowls. Did I?
I stated that I had the molds. Why did I have the molds? Because I wanted
the crowns. Seriously...how do you make it through life? It would truly
suck to be you.

There is no taco part. They are called taco salads because they are the
ingredients that would normally be put into a taco.

Not necessarily. I have seen them with black beans in them, corn, the
ingredients can vary. But in general it would be the types of things you
would put in a taco.

I've found them in a few local stores recently. They were
always available here and there, but I guess they're making
a push to be more widely distributed.

So am I I meant to say, last week when I made pizza, I used your method.
I mixed up the dough and left it in a poly bag out on the counter over
night. It was so easy to flatten out and it tasted great) So, thanks

Mind you, the next day the bag was so blown up I thought it might burst

So, just any regular salad that is served in a taco shell?

That is just what I was trying to ascertain! Thank you!

I find it relaxing to knead the dough in the bag while watching TV.
Squishy stuff in a bag is pretty therapeutic and your hand stays clean!

Oh Man! (tm by Drew Carey). We could have a lot of fun with that
comment. This isn't the group for that though so that's all I have to
say.

No! It has to be the sorts of things that you would normally put into a
typical taco. But what those things are, will vary. Salads are not usually
served in taco shells although there is lettuce or cabbage and often
tomatoes.

Chili needn't contain hot pepper, I prefer with very little, guests
can add their own.

I am very sorry you think so. You forget these things are unknown to me and
I am interested. If you find it annoying please ignore my posts.
