I wasn't familiar with her or her books, but I do have a certain interest in
foraging in the wild. The closest I came to it, though, was on a Central Park tour led by "Wildman" Steve Brill, author of "Identifying and Harvesting Edible and Medicinal Plants in Wild (and Not So Wild) Places." In 2001, he published "The Wild Vegetarian Cookbook: A Forager's Culinary Guide." More on Brill: https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q...rk%22+wildman+ (includes two videos) Or just go he http://www.wildmanstevebrill.com/ Lenona. |
