Attention Jill
I was searching thru some old posts and came across your Victorian china pattern. Grandma, 1917 etc. Hey - I LIKE it. I collected bird plates once, and I found your pattern very pleasing. Do you still have it or did you sell it? Did you use ebay? Or?
I know what it's like, tho, to inherit something and hate it, yet can't bring self to part with it. I am struggling now with parting with a Mikasa set - don't know why - never use it. Maybe I should look to unload. The dinner plates are enormous. Most helpings look puny and no one would ever pursue weight loss using THOSE monsters. |

They came and picked it up. I only ever used it once in all that time. It was just taking up space. Jill |

I guess she didn't like it either; she couldn't wait to gift it to me! LOL >>> I am struggling now with parting with a Mikasa set - don't know why - never use it. I gave my oldest brother the Mikasa china (it was white with a green bamboo pattern). I have no idea why Mom had so many sets of china or dinnerware in general, for that matter. I donated the 1970's Corelle dishes to the Salvation Army. I still have the Franciscan Ware (Desert Rose pattern) plates with all the accoutrements. That includes serving bowls and cups and saucers, covered sugar bowl and cream pitcher. They're older than I am. I do use them once in a while just to shake things up. :) >>> Maybe I should look to unload. The dinner plates are enormous.
