I have been thinking about getting a solar oven. Does anyone have any
comments on whether they work well, and recommendations on brands?

Thanks,

Travis, still in Cedar Key

have used solar cookers to demonstrate their power. made a 6 foot
diameter parabolic cooker which was used to heat oil and then cook fried
foods for fund raisers. there's a big store in Sacramento that sells
them. as for ovens, they aren't all that hard to make a crude one for
testing

I hope you'll post about solar cooking if you do get a solar oven. I
have been curious about it for some time. Thanks!
