IME, all meats available at Aldi are adulterated with injected
solutions. Due to that reason, I never purchase any meats from Aldi. YMMV.

That's what I'm suspicious of. But these are not ALDI meats, these are
Kirkland meats. That's why I asked.

"Kirkland" is the brand that I recall having seen only at Aldi. Aldi
has its own brands that don't seem to be sold at any other stores (in my
area). But then, I mainly shop at three or four stores when it comes to
groceries and foods.

One store I vehemently avoid is WW, and that's another store where I'll
never buy meats unless there are no other options at all! Last time
that happened was in 2010.

Kirkwood or Kirkland? Kirkland is a Costco brand, no?

LOL! I've never been to a Costco. Now I'm unsure. That's sort of like
"left or right"! For sure I'll get the two names backwards. Aldi does
have its own brands and 'kirk####" is one of those, IIRC.

It is but other places sell it as well. Amazon for instance.

The ingredient list isn't on the package?

Kirkland

Kirkwood (not Kirkland) is Aldi meat, as l said. If it's true
that all Aldi meat is injected, then there you have it.

Schnuck's has bone-in split chicken breasts for $1.29 this week.

Even if poultry is not injected these days, it is dunked into bleach water.
There are very very few birds available on the market that are not dunked
any more. The kosher birds are not, and I do not think the halal ones are
either.

If your bird says "Contains up to (insert any number)% retained water" you
can bet it was dunked into a grody pool of bleach water at some point.

The whole chickens at Aldi are Tyson, at least where we live.

You are correct, it's Kirkwood. Did I say Kirkland? My mistake, I
apologize.

The flavor solution actually enhances the wings. I'd never thought I'd think or write such a thing, but it's true. It's just salted chicken broth, and I couldn't do a better job brining myself. Think about this. I am:
A. A food snob who is hyper-critical.
B. Someone who loves chicken wings more than any other bird part. Turkey wing (tips only), and duck wings round out the list.

I would never buy brined pork, and certainly not brined beef, but chicken, and IMO, all birds, are improved by it. Check out their wings sometime, and fry them (preferably naked) in neutral oil.
