Rolled Tacos. I saw them!

I am watching Pati's Mexican table. She just visited a Mexican restaurant
in Mexico, run by a woman. It is in a house from the 1700's. She was
served a plate of rolled tacos. They appeared to have corn tortillas and
also appeared to be fried. She did say what was in them but I don't
remember. They were cut on the diagonal. She even referred to them as
rolled tacos but they looked like large taquitos to me. This is the
episode, but she doesn't make them on this show so no recipe.

Were the rolled tacos baked seam-side down?

They didn't show how they were made. They just showed them being served and
eaten.

Episode 312: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun : Pati's Mexican Table

If there was enough excess tarpolian to roll it up like a reefer..there was not much goodies on the inside. Yep..us Tex Mex folks would label that as a Toquito. What the heck ever that is. The term seemed to have been invented in the 80's by the homo chef in Dallas who come up with Fajitas. What is that? Marinated skirt steak in a flour tort was called a Mexican Sandwich back in the good old days. Everybody has to make a living huh?
