Every year or so, I repost this.
When I was a kid (many, many years ago) there was a cookie sold that came in
a box of 6 or 7. I dont remember the name of them or who made them I
thought they were made by Nabisco or Sunshine but I'm not sure. They had a
soft vanilla cookie (or nilla cookie) on each end and had a sticky
marshmallow in the center. Everybody remembers them but nobody remembers
their name..
How about now?

Moon pies come in individual packages as they are fairly big. They do not

The individual moon pies could be purchased in a box. IIRC it held about
6 or 8. (they are big; you wouldn't want to eat more than 1 or 2 at a
time.) It's probably not what OP was talking about, but it sort of fit
the description and wa a possibility.

If marshmallow cookies are no longer available, maybe a vanilla moon pie
would be a good substitute.
