If you scroll down to Mozilla, it's free, and 1.7.13 should work on your computer. It includes the browser, which you don't need. I'd scroll further to Netscape. It specifically says 9.0.0.5 will work with OS 10.2, and it's free. It includes the Navigator browser, which you don't need. If you scroll further, Newswatcher-UB is free and will work with OS 10.2.8. You could "pull the tooth" as I did. I paid $500 for a Mac Mini in 2006. I used it 78 months, so it came down to $6.40 a month. It saved about $4.00 a month on my power bill, so the net cost was $2.40 a month, or 8 cents a day. I still have it on my desk as my backup computer. |

Very frustrating to say that have followed all suggestions and there always seems to be a roadblock the suggester has not considered. I will try these latest links. Because coming into this group, and also going out, is very time consuming and annoying, I will respond only if the links work. If not immediate response, that means I tried and ran into roadblocks as usual. My efforts are sincere but also annoying and tinged with impatience as I am ushered from page to page with a gut wrenching slowness akin to helping a very old person walk down the street and they're going so slow you wish you could just pick them up and carry them to their doorstep and get it over with. Thanks again. TJ |
