Default Pie filling in cake?

This is "Rump Dump Cake" from "The Treasury of White Trash Cooking."

My question is, WHICH pie filling would go well with crushed pineapple? Clearly not chocolate - or apple, I'm guessing. But what do I know. (Anyway, the only way I'd make something like this if I had about ten non-fussy people to share it with!)

1 can pie filling (any kind)
1 can crushed pineapple
1 box yellow cake mix, mixed
2 sticks butter (melted)
1 cup coconut
1 cup chopped pecans

(not verbatim) "Pour into a Bundt pan in the above order. Bake at 350F for an hour."

Lenona.
