Default Chia Pita

I got this bread today at Costco. Have been tempted for a while but it
expires so soon and there are 12 pieces per bag. But... After speaking to
a customer about it, decided to get some. She said that it's the only bread
that her special needs daughter will eat. And that it freezes well!

It is very good! Loaded with chia seeds and that will up the protein in it.
You can see the seeds. They used the regular ones and they are much cheaper
than the white ones. You can not taste the seeds at all. Tastes just like
regular pita. Highly recommend!

Now I wonder why they don't put chia in other breads? Could be that they
would spoil quickly with the seeds in there though.

Darn! I was just at Costco yesterday. Who makes it? How many
net carbs?

Sorry I don't remember the net carbs. Don't know who makes it either.
Don't remember a brand on it. It was in the bakery department and not with
the other breads. So they might make it there? Was 40 g of carbs per piece
but I'm sure that the fiber in the seeds brought that down some. I no
longer have the package.

Thanks anyway, Julie. I will see whether I can find such a thing
here.

BTW, folks, my server screwed up and I had the options of almost
40,000 posts or a certain number. I opted for the latter. The
problem is that that does not mean I get only the most-recent
posts, so I am probably missing a lot of posts.
