I'd make it a grilled ham egg and cheese for that price. :)

Oyster Po' Boy
Fried oysters, lettuce, tomato and tartar sauce
served on a hoagie roll with a choice of side.

I've got no problem with this, but then again I've never had an oyster
Po' Boy sandwich. Seems to me it would be better with a remoulade. At
least this time they spelled "tartar sauce" correctly. :)

It's oyster season here in the lowcountry so hopefully they're buying
local oysters. If so, it might behoove them to say so.

Heh. You cannot assume they would know. Many of the people who live
here aren't full-time residents. They're from places to the north.
Area restaurants which are open to the public proudly state they are
serving local seafood and fresh local produce.

Po'boys at casual po'boy shops around New Orleans are often topped with
your choice of any or all of ketchup, mayonnaise, and hot sauce. The
ketchup, mayo, and hot sauce on a po'boy come together into a sort of
rude cousin of remoulade sauce. I prefer just ketchup and hot sauce on
shrimp or oyster po'boys. Tartar sauce would be okay.

Just to mention, Jill. Oyster (and clam) season actually just ended. It's
crab season that just started up. Oysters and clams are "in season" during
the cold weather/cold water months. Your SC oyster season ended last week as
did mine. :)
