They won't leave tip, don't pay enough to cover taxes, sometimes not even enough to cover their bills, and they do it all the time. Cheap Bob was notorious for stuff like that. I missed the night that he got a comeuppance, but I heard about it from the people who did it to him. He had gone out drinking with three other couples. They guys were taking turns buying rounds. Bob would always be there when the waiter came to take their orders but would then slip away to the washroom before the came and had to be paid for. When time came for last round, they all ordered expensive drinks, but when the waiter came with them they asked him to come back when Bob returned, explaining about him mooching all night. After Bob came back from the washroom the waiter came back to get the money. Everyone pointed to Bob and said "He's paying." and the waiter commented that he had not paid for a drink all night. |

(snippage) Your problem was continuing to go out with him again. There is no reason to fool anyone. Simply don't go out to eat with them. I don't know what is so difficult about that. Seems like you want to get some sort of revenge. Really, just don't eat with these people once you know what they are like. Jill |

They horned in on the group as it was, ordered, ate fast, then beat it. ========== There does seem to be one or two like that in just about every circle. Cheri |

He was the type that would eat first and then go to the food focused outing. He was a long time friend whose habit had started in college where something like that is excusable when you're putting yourself through school and barely have two nickels to rub together - but this continued long after. He was a self-made millionaire who had quit to cruise around the world on a Windjammer (of course, he paid for part of the trip by being a part time crew member) and was well into a second, lucrative career when he went to a bachelor party and did his "eat before you go and nurse a beer while you're there" routine. Everyone was fed up with that behavior because he had plenty of money, so when it came time to pay up - they wouldn't let him off the hook. He had to split the bill evenly with everyone else. He got the message: join in fully or don't expect to be included in the future. He's still part of the group and not a "Cheap Bob" anymore. Yes, his name is Bob too. -- Food is an important part of a balanced diet. |

I might be tempted to wear those. Might. But probably not. But no way would I ever get a tattoo. Just not into that stuff. |

He said they would get to stinking quite badly because there was open skin there. I was kind of like... TMI! Some of the piercings drive me nuts. I can see a little ring in the nose. But a diamond? I would think that the backer would make you think that you constantly had to blow your nose. And the lips piercings? That would bug me too. Yes, my ears are pierced but only once in each ear. |

The younger ones (who aren't so young anymore) did it. They aren't in the exact place where women put theirs, but they are in the back. My son put his last name just below the belt line and our local team's football logo high on his butt cheek. He already knew what I thought about tattoos, so there was no asking permission - he came home and they were there. I told him that at least they were hidden under his clothing - and if (god forbid) anything bad ever happened to him at least he had distinctive markings on his body for the purpose of identification. That was the most positive thing I could think of to say about it. 18 years later, I haven't changed my mind. -- Food is an important part of a balanced diet. |

Something about that location makes > people decide on the most ludicrous tattoos. > Okay... I searched. You are right. It appears that some guys have had themselves tramp stamped. Note that in the Google results for male tramp stamp the second hit was captioned "The male tramp stamp lives ion in douchebaggery" and the picture gallery in it is mocking them. It is similar to the mullet sightings sites. Hell, I am 62 and I know women who have them and have seen lots of them, but despite going to two different gyms, on different days, at different ours, so catching the different crowds.... never seen one on a guy in a locker room. |

His wife is into them to. He posted pictures of a work in progress on FaceBook about two years ago. While he is very muscular and his are on his arms, she ... is not... and she is getting flabby fast. |

The nose rings I was thinking of are placed on the outer side of one nostril - it seems like "nobody" does that animal control ring type thing these days unless (of course) they're into S&M. -- Food is an important part of a balanced diet. |
