Be very careful what you say here or it will be used against you in
*another* newsgroup!

Of course, not everyone sinks so low ...

Thanks. I'm getting ready to put that poster back in the bozo bin
because with careful pruning, I really do like the ng. I just wish
they talked more about food.

I'm not subscribed to that ng and don't plan to. Just curious, was it a
typo or a geographical error?

I am terrible with geography. Having moved around a lot as a kid, some
people might think I'd know a lot about geography. I don't. The
problem with moving around and constantly changing schools is some
things get missed. I had a geography class once in elementary school
but then Dad got transferred. No geography for that grade at the next
school. I missed out on a lot of classes simply because we always
seemed to get transferred in the middle of a school year.

Having said that, even *I* know Austria and Australia aren't the same
thing

I subscribed when we had the British troll invasion and was curious
about what had spawned it. Most of the posters are really nice, down
to earth people... and then there are a few pompous asses that are
best in the bozo bin.

> Just curious, was it a typo or a geographical error?

I remembered that a certain poster lived in a country that began with
AUS and I chose the wrong one. She has been haranguing me about it
for days now... as if I don't know one from the other. She's throwing
out as many negative American stereotypes as she can think of and
coming across as quite the nasty bitch. Peter's post here is pretty
much like how she sounds over there.

So does sf. It was obviously just a misread but of course she was pounced
on

It wasn't even a misread, O... I only remembered the first three
letters and chose the wrong one. Australians post in ukfd too. I
guess Fran did at one time, but I barely remember it because I think
they chased her out around the time I came in. That other one from
Australia who pops in every now and then is a real piece of work,
isn't she?

What you did wasn't important, but it was used as an opportunity to hammer
you and hammer you and hammer you. Tim, to whom you were responding wasn't
bothered and neither were most others. You saw a protest eventually. You
are getting the right idea btw ...!

Exactly. I picked the wrong AUS, so sue me. It didn't matter to the
topic where he lived other than it's not England. You're having quite
a tantrum about this. Pull yourself together and stop acting so
juvenal.

Well heck, I don't know all the country abbreviations and it's easy
enough to pick the wrong one. Strange thing for people to get up in
arms about.

As you're out of the idiot bin for a tad, I'll reply to your lies and
bullshit, which you were obviously hoping I wouldn't.

"Some of us"? You mean you, you mindless trollop, and the rest of the
pathalogically obsessed ******s like Boobie and spurtz?

For your information, which has been plainly available and easily
recognisable by anyone with at least 1/2 a brain (opps!! that puts you
out of the equation, doesn't it?).... I have had several
stalkers/forgers in the past. Jebus used to be one of them, probably
still is.

Anyhoos, in reference to your swaggering bullshit......... I have never
"boasted about my war experiences" as you stated, and never will,
especially on a cooking newsgroup. If, indeed, you did reply to someone
claiming to be me, boasting about 'war experiences', you were obviously
replying to a stalker/forger, something which would suit your agenda
right down to the ground, being the bitter and twisted old bitch that
you are.

And being as stupid as you are, you wouldn't / couldn't see that it was
a forger, and anyways, as stated, it suited your pathetic agenda not to
see it.

So chuckle on, moron, because at the end of the day, you're the one who
looks like a pathetic ****ing idiot to all and sundry, apart from your
little band of like minded morons.
Now, go light up another fag, and go scream at the neighbours like the
filthy fishwife you are.

For such a hard-case hardnose, you're really quite sensitive/precious,
aren't you?

Here you go.........

http://webstore.lexi.com/s.nl/ctype....378/KB.3234/.f

Australia = AU

Austria = AT

Or did you mean "Lived in a country starting with Aus..."??

Or were you using the Olympic country codes (which use 3 letters)...

http://geography.about.com/od/countr...ympiccodes.htm

Were Australia = AUS, and Austria = AUT

So, in theory, there's only *one* country starting with AUS, and that is
us Aussies :-)

Obviously you have no idea what the first 3 letters are in Austria.

If you're referring to the Olympic abbreviation, it's AUT. For the
Internet abbrev it's AT.

Now if you wanted to say (as above) "Lived in a country starting with
Aus..." then that's different.

When you use capitals, it changes the meaning.

Simple really.

(Sigh...) Sorry you're so bloody minded when you've been clearly shown that
you are wrong.

:-)) Well I've met Americans who didn't.

When those Yankd complimented me on my English after I told them I came from
Australia, they simply would not believe me when I told them several times
that a) we spoke English in Australia, and b) Australia was the really,
really, really big island to the south west of Hawaii. They still insisted
that Australia was in Europe and we spoke German.

In the face of such ignorance and stunning arrogance, I gave up and found
more informed companions to talk to.
