Reissue: "The Winnie-the-Pooh Cookbook" by Virginia Ellison (2010)

This is from 1969, originally. From the back flap, I see Ellison died
in 2001 (contrary to what I'd thought!)

From Amazon:

"The famously rotund bear is happiest when in possession of a brimming
pot of honey, but when it comes time for meals and smackerels, the
residents of the Hundred Acre Wood need something a little more
substantial. This delightful collection contains over fifty tried-and-
true recipes for readers of all ages to make and enjoy, starting with
Poohanpiglet pancakes and ending with a recipe for getting thin-with
honey sauces, holiday treats, and dishes for every mealtime in
between.

"Forty years after its original publication, this updated and
beautifully redesigned cookbook features quotes from the original
books and Ernest H. Shepard's beloved drawings, which leap off the
pages in full color."

I've always wondered how to cook a Pooh bear.

"Mint/Honey/Banana" sounds like a winning combination.

Honey chocolate?

> Honey Milk Punch

Milk punch?

> Honey Berry Lemonade
> Homemade Snow and Honey
> Lemon/Raspberry Ice Punch
> A Very Nearly Tea
> Fairy Toast
> Ginger Ale and Ice Cream
> Oatmeal Wafers
> Honey Toffee Pennies
> Honey Toffee Apples
> Easy Honey Buns
> Cream Scones

Some interesting honey recipes.

One of the many thousands of recipes for shrimp, as Bubba/Gump would say.

> Hot Potato Salad with Tuna Fish
> Haycorn Squash
> Lamb Patties with Mint Sauce
> Cottleston Pie
> Creamed Salmon on Crackers
> Jelly Omlet

Jelly omelette?

Pooh loves eggnog.

Thanks. This is all very interesting.
