I think you're right, but lemon marmalade isn't common here and I'm
not going to make it just to make a pie... but you gave *me* and idea!
I think I'll spike my orange marmalade with lemon so it will be more
tart. Thanks to you too!

Reminds me- next batch of rhubarb goes to marmalade. I make a
batch of this every year. It is nearly as simple as a compote-
Rhubarb Marmalade
1 lb chopped rhubarb
1 lemon
2 ½ cups sugar

Grate the rind of one lemon into rhubarb and sugar. Let sit on the
counter overnight.
Juice the lemon into the mixture. Boil quickly until it thickens.

[I've used 2 lemons--- I've also used 3 seedless oranges and just
ground them pith and all into the mix in the AM]

I don't process it- just refrigerate & it is good for a few months.
