So, do you use agave nectar or syrup? Is it actually good for you.
 

I've decided it is not. I've read numerous articles about how it is
processed and why it could be more harmful than high fructose corn
syrup.

I think if you purchase certified organic you are better off. Still
I would be careful about what kind to buy and how much to use. as
with any syrup.

I don't think it's all that bad. Then again, I don't think HFCS is all
that bad, either. For those who don't like HFCS because of the way it
is processed, some agave nectar is processed the same way. For those
who don't like HFCS because it is 55% fructose vs only 50% fructose for
table sugar, some agave nectar is 90% fructose!

HFCS is cheap sweets in the US. Table sugar is much more expensive, but
still darned cheap. Agave nectar is ridiculously expensive.

As far as being careful about what kind you buy, that sounds good, but
every container I've looked at is very vague about what is in it.
