Mung beans -- expiration date
As long as I haven't opened the package, how long do dry mung beans last on the shelf and still be good for sprouting?
I have a couple bags of "dragonfly" brand and thought I'd "try again" at sprouting -- if I remember, it's a more tedious process than you think. |

Are you saying you have mung beans? They'll keep practically forever. BTW: cook up the beans with a ham hock and you've got dinner. They're a short cook. Slightly longer than lentils, not nearly as long as most beans. -- Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad. |

Mung beans -- expiration date
