the one i eat at makes it fresh and it is cooked, i always get tortillia
shells instead of chips as they are also made fresh, i can eat the salsa with a spoon except on the rare occasion when it gets two much selantro and turns it into soap, Lee "Ed Pawlowski" > wrote in message ... > On Thu, 13 Oct 2011 20:41:40 -0700, "Julie Bove" > > wrote: > >> >>"Sky" > wrote in message ... >>> On 10/13/2011 9:43 PM, Julie Bove wrote: >>>> >>>> Here all places put out a cooked salsa. >>> >>> My personal experience with local Mexican restaurants is that 'salsa' is >>> always fresh - never cooked - and it's made daily. Patty Melt

I've never heard of TI dressing on a patty melt. (This is Southern California). To me it's grilled onions and a patty on rye bread. Normally each of the two pieces has some sort of proletarian cheese on it. As an aside, I once got one that was made with sourdough - an affront to the senses under any circumstances and doubly so on a patty melt. Can't remember any other time in my life I sent a dish back to the kitchen. Art |
