Maybe they should eliminate the booths and just provide those high
tables that people stand at to eat.

I love cooking with wine.
Sometimes I even put it in the food.

You'd think there would be a lot of places like that in NYC.

I was at a place like that in Baltimore. We had been walking around all
day. It was beastly hot and all I wanted to do was sit down and eat. Why
would anyone want to stand to eat?

I see places like that as similar to gas stations - mostly, you just
want to fill your tank with cheap gas and be on your way. It's certainly
no place for tourists. OTOH, if I was a tourist in NYC, I'd visit this guy.

Around here it's common for hot dog joints and truck stops. After
sitting in a truck or at a desk for hours standing up for 15-20
minutes is a good thing.

w00t! I'd definitely have to stop in.

I think he's a bit underhanded in his use of the spat, though.
