I use El Yucateco. Cheap, hot, and with a lot of habanero
flavor. Not sure if it would fail your vinegar
content test, I seem to recall you're fairly anti-vinegar
whereas I add it to nearly anything savory.

Saw this for the first time today, so naturally
I had to buy it. I'm adapted to rather hot food,
so it takes a pretty hot sauce to meet my standards.
This is a good sauce. Adequate heat and a strong
habanero flavor. I've tried other putative habanero
sauces, and while the heat may be there, the habanero
flavor is usually lost. Not so with this sauce.
Heat AND flavor will not disappoint! Another defect
in many sauces is too much vinegar. This sauce is
just about right. It will be a regular in my fridge.

I can't really fault it for anything. A bit of a
surprise is that it is made in South Africa.

I've been using it for years (try it on mac and cheese). IMO the red is
better than the green.

Okay I'll have to try the red. Is it also habanero? Or is
it manzano?

I love all sorts of hot sauces, but for omelets, the only kind I want on
them is good ol' Tabasco -- and that's just about the only thing I *do*
like it for. Well, besides pulled pork sandwiches, where it's sort of a
required ingredient.

Habanero. And it's red, not orange.

Me too. I have all sorts of hot sauce because my son buys them for
something or other he's cooking/serving here and leaves them, but
Tabasco is my go-to hot sauce and I'm grumpy if I run out. Never mind
that I have at least 4 others in the refrigerator waiting to be used.
