Default Paleo/GAPS/Gluten Free/Dairy Free Diet Suggestions?

"Ranée at Arabian Knits" I will be starting an elimination diet for
two of my children (and
therefore the rest of the family as well) on Sunday. I need menu ideas
and recipes, especially for breakfast, that do not include wheat,
gluten, dairy, citrus, chocolate, soy, almonds or bananas.

We have lots of beef, turkey, lamb, a little ham and tons of eggs, so
meals that deal with that would be wonderful. I would prefer to use
coconut milk to rice milk. Thank you for any help!

My goodness, what a challenge! I do wish you well. I was thinking ham,
eggs and biscuits would be a fine breakfast and immediately wondered how you
would begin to make an edible biscuit. It can be done. 'They say' that one
cup rice milk plus one tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar allowed to sit for
about 10 minutes will do an okay substitute for buttermilk.
Our children would have been happy to live on biscuits and French fries.
Are potatoes allowed? If so, I'm thinking you'd better find a way to prepare
them. Polly

I was wondering about potatoes as well. With the list of ingredients Ranee
posted, a potato-crusted quiche sounds like a good choice for at least one
of the meals.

I just looked it up and it looks like no carby foods are allowed. Hmmm...
